1. Accounts and roles
Merchant accounts must be held by an individual with authority to bind the business. Admin accounts are internal to Loyalty Chips. Merchants are responsible for keeping venue details, reward terms, Google review links, campaign settings, and staff access accurate.
2. Acceptable use
- No sending email or SMS to customers who have not opted in for that channel.
- No scraping, reselling, or exporting the platform for competitors.
- Honor unsubscribe, suppression, export, and deletion requests promptly.
- Comply with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR, CCPA, and local marketing rules in your jurisdiction.
3. Subscription & billing
Loyalty Base renews monthly through Stripe. Google Review Stand and a la carte hardware are one-time purchases unless paired with a subscription. Hardware orders may include minimum quantities and production review before fulfillment. Cancel a subscription any time from billing; access continues through the end of the current paid period unless the account is terminated for misuse.
4. Hardware production
NFC/QR chips, cards, wristbands, metal cards, stickers, and stands are prepared after payment, venue setup, artwork or profile approval, and provider readiness. Merchants are responsible for approving production details before printing or encoding. Physical color, material, and finish may vary slightly by supplier and batch.
5. Availability
We target 99.5% uptime. Contact support for material incidents and billing questions.
6. Data ownership and privacy
Merchants own the customer data they collect via their chips and are the controller for their customer list. Loyalty Chips acts as a processor for merchant customer data and provides export, deletion, unsubscribe, and suppression workflows. The platform also records operational analytics, audit events, and security metadata such as hashed IP values as described in the Privacy Policy and Security page. We do not store raw payment card details.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. On termination, contact support to export or delete merchant customer data. We may retain billing records, audit logs, suppression records, security logs, and backups where required for legal, security, abuse-prevention, or accounting purposes.
